This is a digital pattern booklet with instructions on how to sew a lovely and
feminine combination teddy (cami-knickers) and bandeau brassiere from
1929 WITHOUT USING A PAPER PATTERN! The instructions will make sense to
an intermediate or above sewing enthusiast.
Instructions include how to make the garments in sizes 40" bust and smaller.
The combination is a very simple design consisting of an upper piece with a center back seam and the front and back lower portions which button or snap at the crotch. The bandeau is incredibly basic and is gathered at the center front and fitted snugly.
The booklet contains a few pages of sewing and ornamentation lessons from the same era to help you make beautifully finished undergarments.
You will be able to sew a complete garment using this booklet, no printing required! Simply follow the easy diagram included that shows you where to cut a folded length of fabric to get the pattern pieces - all you need is a ruler.
1 yard of 40" material makes one combination and one bra.
