This is a digital, print at home sewing pattern for an amazing wrap-front step-in chemise or slip. It can be sewn as a step-in with a low crotch tab or without as a slip. Once sewn together, it is all one wrap piece that ties at the hip (the sash loops through a bound opening).

The back neckline has different options including straight or V-neck, and the hem is designed to be cut either straight or diamond-edged as in the illustration.

The geometric, diamond-shaped hemline was popularized by designer Vionnet in the mid-1920's.

It can be made in lightweight non-stretch fabrics like rayon, silk, and cotton for the perfect undergarment.

This slip is ideal for wearing under any 1920's and 1930's dresses. It is drafted in mid-calf length but can be shortened or lengthened to match your dress choice. For a smoother silhouette under dresses, it can be closed with snaps instead of a sash.
