This is a great soldier's flight cap sewing pattern from the 1940's redesigned with better instructions and digitized for easy home use. It's super easy to sew and only takes about an
hour to make. It's the perfect hat pattern for soldier or pin-up
costumes, or just a great fashion statement.
Size: Medium. The
finished inside measurement is 22 1/2". You can also make the hat
smaller by setting your printer to print the pattern at less than 100%.
You can even make this hat into an adorable fascinator by printing it at
50% and sewing a couple of hair pins to the bottom.
Fabric requirements: 1/2 yd fabric, 7/8 yard bias binding.
~Modelled by an actual Airman!~
Printing
a PDF is easy. Just open, hit print, and make sure that your printer
scale is set to 100% (this should be the default setting in most cases).
