1930s Hat, Scarf, Purse and Vest #3087

1930s Hat, Scarf, Purse and Vest #3087 vintage sewing pattern in French and English from MrsDepew.com.

This is a DIGITAL, print-at-home sewing pattern reproduction of a charming accessory set.

Year: 1939.

This great little set of accessories has been reproduced from a vintage set of instructions and diagrams. We have drafted the diagram patterns to full size so that they are ready to use and translated the original instructions from French to English.

Patterns are included for the hat, scarf, purse, and vest in the photos.

Measurements and instructions are given to make the belt as pictured to your size but there is no pattern.

The gloves as illustrated include instructions only on how to make a pattern from another pair of purchased gloves to match the set.

Instructions are given for a coin purse but there is no pattern and it is assumed that you're cutting it from scraps of whatever you have on hand.

A set of letters is also included for the monograms as illustrated.

This set was designed during the height of WWII and calls for chamois (supple lamb or goat hide) but these items can also be made in faux-suede or medium-weight fabrics with no more than 10% stretch.

SIZING:

No sizing is given for the hat. The band appears to provide enough stretch the way that it is cut to be one size fits most. The vest is a 92 cm/ 36" bust size.

Difficulty level: Intermediate

The instructions are in French and English.

We have been professionally reproducing vintage patterns since 2008 and are very proud to offer beautiful, high quality and historically accurate reproductions.
