This is an E-book version of the hard to find Wright's Bias Fold Tape
Sewing Booklet. These booklets were quite popular in the 1920's and
1930's but are hard to find now. We have made a full color reproduction
of ours, including a full sized pattern sheet with designs and pattern
pieces to make many of the items pictured within! The point of the
booklet is to show you the many ways that you can sew with bias fold
tape including clever embellishment and finishing techniques, as well as
full patterns!
The booklet is 32 pages of beautiful illustrations, tutorials, fashion history and more!
The included pattern sheet is another 15 pages that print out and tape together for a full-sized sheet.
Pattern
pieces include toys, embroidery and piecework motifs, quilt designs,
lingerie embellishments, and much, much more! For things like the
lingerie pictured, the booklet references popular patterns from the era
by the big four companies - though we have reproduction patterns that
you can substitute these for if you like.
Printing
a PDF is easy. Just open, hit print, and make sure that your printer
scale is set to 100% (this should be the default setting in most cases).
