This beautiful booklet from the 1920's has been digitally restored to its original glory. This incredibly rare book is 20 pages of millinery instruction and patterns from the era's experts.

Year: Circa 1927

The book features beautiful illustrations, photos, and detailed instructions for making the hats featured. There are no actual sewing patterns (in the lay out on fabric and cut sense) but there are instructions for draping and cutting all of the looks included in the photos. If you have some millinery experience and a hat form, you can make any of them.

I have seen lots of vintage millinery books and this is by far the most helpful, best illustrated millinery resource I have ever seen. So much info is packed into these 20 pages!

Contents:
Hat Making with Soft and Stiff Foundations
Cutting and Covering Brims and Crowns
Stretched and Drawn Brim Facings
Making a Wire Hat Shape
Hats of Ribbon, Leather, Straw, Silk Raffin and Crepe Paper.
Making Bandeaux and Head-linings etc.
