Haslam Dresscutting Spring Book No. 1 (1931)

Haslam Dresscutting Book No. 1 1931 Vintage Sewing Pattern E-book with Pattern Draftings - INSTANT DOWNLOAD

This is an E-book version of the rather rare Haslam System of Dresscutting Spring Book of Draftings - No. 1.
Year: Circa 1931.

The e-book is 16 pages of patterns. The last 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photos show you all of the pattern drafts included in this book. We have a very large collection of vintage pattern catalogs from this era and included several pages from the 1931 June McCall Counter Catalog that featured designs that are very similar to the included draftings. These are to provide you with styling, accessorizing, and fabric choice inspiration for period-correct sewing.Note that outfits in our first picture come from the McCall catalog but are nearly identical to the Haslam draftings included.

To use these patterns, you will need the Haslam dressmaking chart. The 1930s foundation pattern instructions are included with this edition but the chart tool is not included with this booklet.

This is a wonderful book to have if you're a vintage fashion lover or costume designer. With one booklet, you could sew an entire wardrobe!

Included with your order is a free 53-page dressmaking lesson E-book. Pre 1940s sewing pattern instructions were often vague and assumed the seamstress was already knowledgeable or had access to useful sewing books. If you're new to sewing with vintage or reproduction patterns, this e-book includes historical dressmaking lessons that will help fill in any knowledge gaps!

You can even join the Haslam Sewing Support Group on Facebook created by yours truly for sewing and pattern-making help with these books!

Printing a PDF is easy. Just open, hit print, and make sure that your printer scale is set to 100% (this should be the default setting in most cases).
