This is a digital copy of the Spring 1927 publication "Fashion Service" published quarterly by the Woman's Institute.
This is an incredibly hard to find book that features stunning fashions from the 1920's, and several articles on how to sew the dresses featured. There are no actual sewing patterns for the dresses included but there are several descriptive tutorials that one could copy with great results.
An experienced seamstress would be able to take the instructions given and tailor the dresses and lingerie shown.
This book does actually feature a hat sewing pattern for a 'flexible silk hat". (Note, if you purchase this booklet, pattern #3025 is already included).
The book is 52 pages of articles, lovely drawings, instruction and embellishment lessons for sewing beautiful clothing.
