This is a digital copy of the September 1927 publication "Fashion Service" published monthly by the Woman's Institute.

This is an incredibly hard to find book that features stunning fashions from the 1920s, and several articles on how to sew the dresses featured. There are no actual sewing patterns for the dresses included but there are several descriptive tutorials that one could copy with great results.

An experienced seamstress would be able to take the instructions given and tailor the dresses and lingerie shown. There is a lovely, complete hat pattern included with this issue!

The book is 28 pages of articles, lovely drawings, instruction and embellishment lessons for sewing beautiful clothing.
