The book is one of half a dozen originally published as a mail order dressmaker's course in 1924. It includes illustrated instructions for measuring the figure, drafting a pattern to paper, and how to do it all accurately and quickly.
Instructions include how to Draft dresses, blouses, skirts, lingerie, bonnets and caps, children and baby clothes, men's shirts, several types of collars and sleeves and quite a bit more.

The book shows illustrations of using a Picken Square (a modified tailor's square with built in curves originally sold with the coursework) but a regular tailor's square will suffice.
