This is a digital, print at home PDF sewing pattern for a very hard-to-find 1940s dress. It has been adapted from a 1940 sewing pattern and also workes nicely for late 1930s style.

The dress has so many tasteful features including a high front neckline, pleating at front waistline, slightly puffed long sleeves  or gathered 3/4 sleeves, and a slim skirt with stunning peg-topped pockets with optional contrast trim. A belted waist finishes the ensemble from self or contrast fabric. The closures for this dress include a slit center back with button/ loop closure, as well as a side placket for a zipper or snaps.
