1928 Magic Frock

3013 Dress

This is a wonderful 1928 drop-shoulder kimono-sleeve dress pattern. It is completed with an apron effect edged with a plaited ruffle.

The dress is draped following the very easy to use instructions and diagrams.

The pattern description reads: "To drape and cut a smart and youthful frock without the aid of a pattern, but with the assurance of a good fit, and in very short time, is an achievement accomplished as if by magic if the simple directions are accurately followed."

The pattern originally came from a 1928 publication by the Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts and Sciences.

This is an E-book with instructions on how to sew a 1920's  dress WITHOUT USING A PAPER PATTERN! The instructions are quite easy and will make sense to an intermediate or above sewing enthusiast. Instructions include how to make the dress to your exact measurements.
