This is a digital, print-at-home sewing pattern reproduction for a lovely 1920s smock coat. This wonderful and rare design features long sleeves gathered into cuffs and a straight collar which may be trimmed with contrast or embroidered fabric. The back is joined to a shoulder yoke and the front features shoulder gathers, double breasted buttons, and trimmed pockets.
The embroidery motif for the look as illustrated is also included!

The original pattern was released in 1926 and kept in circulation due to its popularity as late as 1929.

The smock was the predecessor of the house coat so popular in later years. It was intended for wear in the garden, while keeping house, doing art projects, and even worn out of doors occasionally to the market over a dress.

Please note that the original pattern did not include any button placement markings.
